Police Investigate a Hit & Run Toms River

At approximately 5:00pm, The Assistant Chief for East Dover Volunteer Fire Company witnessed a Black 2006-2008 model Ford SUV hitting a Pole on Hazelwood @ Fischer Blvd . once the asst chief arrived the car fled within the Bellcrest neighborhood and was later found located parked on Mercer @ Cattus Island Blvd . The Local Police Department conducted a DUI [Driving Under the influence] on the male driver and later was determined to have Failed and was arrested on location for DUI.
